So excited to be collaborating with Statements by Alex to introduce the new “Goddess Necklace!” The simple yet stunning necklace is made with rainbow moonstone on a gold chain. This powerful crystal connects the wearer to the feminine energy of the moon, helping her to unleash the power of her inner goddess. It teaches women confidence and serenity, and allows them to recognize their capabilities as fearless, empowered women. 20% of the proceeds from this necklace will go towards Kick Back Bath Co! It will be available starting in late October and will be custom made. For more details email firstname.lastname@example.org. Also check out the rest of Alex’s jewelry at www.statementsbyalex.com!

On October 6th, Beta Theta Phi fraternity at Miami University held their first “Beta Ball,” a charity event that raised money for Women Helping Women. The brothers of Beta reached out to Kick Back Bath Co founder Maria Racadio and invited her to speak at the event about sexual assault, the company, and how she has been helped by Women Helping Women. They also sold Kick Back products at their ticket sales table in the week leading up to the ball. Additionally in that week, there was a video contest held with the purpose of “starting the conversation” surrounding sexual assault. The participants, who were representing different Miami University sororities, submitted videos talking about the importance of having a dialogue about sexual assault and the winner was chosen based on video content and views. The winner was Maria Kahn of Alpha Omicron Pi, and she received $300 for her sorority’s philanthropy. Overall, the ball raised over $1300 for Women Helping Women!
